Kakoli joins Third Eye Film Festival jury

Filmmaker Shahnewaz Kakoli has joined the jury board of the 14th edition of the Third Eye Asian Film Festival, being held in India city Mumbai from Thursday to 31 December, 2015.
This will be her first participation to any film festival as jury, Kakoli told Prothom Alo.
Organised by the Asian Film Foundation, the festival will screen Kakoli two Bangladeshi films including Kakoli’s ‘Nadijan’ and Mostofa Sarwar Farooki ‘Piprabidya’ on the fourth day of the festival, reads the website of the festival.
Talking about the Third Eye Asian Film Festival, Shahnewaz Kakoli said, “Earlier, I participated in the film fest as a participant. My film, ‘Uttarer Sur’ was screened here in 2012. I am happy that I am this time taking part in the fest as a jury board member.”
Sharing her current projects, she said, “I am now working on a new film. The script is ready and shooting will start soon.”
