All week, Lady Gaga has been slowly rolling out each of the 16 covers for V magazine’s January issue, guest edited by herself. The latest is the most personal one yet, reports YN.
The cover features Gaga and her fiancé, Taylor Kinney, both nude, in a mirror selfie, taken by Kinney himself. The two are covered in paint, the result of the pair having sex on canvas “for peace,” as Gaga put it.
In a letter from the editor, Gaga explains the reasons behind the cover, which one can’t help but compare to John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s famous bed-ins, protesting the Vietnam War.
